Rodrigo Resende Jiu-Jitsu Scholarship Program

Stony Plain Dental Centre in partnership with Rodrigo Resende Brazilian Jui-Jitsu

Rodrigo Resende Academy and Stony Plain Dental Centre have partnered to offer two students a full-year scholarship to Rodrigo Resende Academy in Spruce Grove, Alberta. Applications will be due on May 15, 2020. Scholarship recipients will be chosen and announced at the June 2020 Belt Ceremony.

Eligibility

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide students who are representatives of good citizenship funding for a full year at Rodrigo Resende Academy. The recipients are not required to be current athletes at Rodrigo Resende Academy.

• Is a good example among peers or in the community

• Shows leadership qualities

• Has an interest in sports and wellness, specifically martial arts

One scholarship will be awarded to a child (aged 7-12 years old) and the other scholarship will be awarded to a teenager (aged 13-17 years old).
