Our Doctors

Dr. Zahra Gangji is a General Dentist and the proud owner of Stony Plain Dental Centre. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD). She also has a degree in Microbiology. Dr. Gangji began working for Stony Plain Dental Centre in 2008 and purchased the clinic in 2012.

She is a provider of neuromodulators (Botox®), nitrous oxide sedation, crowns, bridges, veneers, and implants. She is also a provider of Invisalign® and Myobrace®, two types of orthodontic treatments. Dr. Gangji is a registered member of Alberta Dental Association and College (ADAC).

Dr. Ramika Tissera is a General Dentist. She graduated in 2005 from Guys, Kings’ and St. Thomas’ School of Dentistry (UK) where she earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from University College London.

Since 2005 she worked in affluent Central London before deciding to immigrate to Canada with her young family and challenged the equivalency process to gain her dental license in Canada.

Dr. Tissera enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially crowns, root canal treatment, and extractions. She can undertake this treatment with the use of nitrous and oral sedation for our anxious patients. She is also a provider of Invisalign®.

Dr. Patricia Chen is a General Dentist. She graduated from the University of Alberta in 2022 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) and also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Immunology and Infection.

Dr. Chen enjoys getting to know her patients and providing them with a personalized level of care. She understands that dental visits can be nerve-wracking but loves working together with patients to make their experience as comfortable as possible. She encourages patients to ask questions and is dedicated to educating patients about their oral health.

Dr. Chen enjoys all forms of general dentistry and offers an inclusive dental experience.

Dr. Peter Manzer graduated from McGill University’s School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) and has been practicing dentistry for more than 30 years. Dr. Manzer is a General Dentist at Stony Plain Dental in Alberta and enjoys providing dental care for both his new and existing patients. Dr Manzer has completed additional training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry and Sedation Dentistry. He is committed to providing his patients with the treatment that is right for them, from basic dental care to the most comprehensive reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry available, creating the beautiful smile they desire. To help alleviate the stress or anxiety patients may associate with dental work, Dr Manzer offers dental sedation that helps a patient relax and receive the dental treatment they require. His goal is to make each dental visit as relaxing and comfortable as possible.

Dr. Manzer is a member of the Alberta Dental Association and College and the Canadian Dental Association.

In his spare time, Peter and his wife enjoy exploring all that Alberta has to offer. They especially like to discover new restaurants and visit the beautiful nearby mountains that we call our backyard.
