Stony Plain Dental Centre - Our Practice
Since 1999, Stony Plain Dental Centre has offered family and cosmetic dental procedures to residents in the area. Dr. Zahra Gangji, Dr. Stephanie Ponsford, Dr. Jennifer Nguyen, and Dr. Erika Ridgway (all General Dentists) offer procedures such as routine teeth cleanings, sealants, dental implants, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, periodontal disease management, root canal therapy, CEREC dental crowns, and several other cosmetic dentistry procedures in Alberta.
As a new patient of Stony Plain Dental Centre, our doctors will welcome you into our warm and newly renovated office. Our front desk staff will greet you and ask you to fill out some minor paperwork, if you already haven’t completed the forms at home. We have beverages available while you are waiting, along with magazines, a children’s area, and a television for your enjoyment in the waiting room.
Once you are in one of our new dental chairs, one of our assistants will check your health history, address your medical background, and take your digital X-rays. One of our dentists will join you, and we will discuss your treatment plan and address any of your concerns. We work diligently to alleviate any dental pain and restore smiles to their natural beauty using a wide variety of cosmetic and family dentistry techniques.
From our young patients coming in for their first dental visit to our adult patients of all ages, we do our very best to personalize each visit and service. We treat all phases of dentistry, ranging from orthodontics, restorations, and dental crowns in Alberta. We spend time with our patients during their visit, and we enjoy forming relationships with everyone. We are here to answer all of your questions and address your concerns.
Education & Prevention
As a practice, we are true believers that preventive care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “dental health care” vs. “disease care”. That’s why we focus on thorough exams – checking the overall health of your teeth and gums and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned about your health. A review of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health.
Training & Expertise
As your dental health professionals, we want you to be confident knowing we pride ourselves in providing the care you need to keep your smile healthy. We are committed to continual education and learning. We attend dental lectures, meetings, and dental conventions to stay informed of new techniques and the latest products. Also, being members of various professional dental associations helps us to stay up-to-date on changes in our profession.
A Positive Experience
Building a foundation of trust by treating our patients as special individuals is vital to our success. We understand how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits. Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with personalized care and service to make your visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
We thank you for allowing us to take care of your dental needs and look forward to serving you.
